- New Undergraduate
Students may be offered as part of the award package or apply separately for the following loans:
Loans are a debt which must be repaid. Many loans offer deferments (postponed repayment) until after the student has graduated or dropped below half-time status. Undergraduate students will automatically be considered for eligible Federal Loan programs as part of their financial assistance package.
- Continuing Undergraduate

- Graduate
Graduate students may be offered loans as part of their award package which are processed by our office. The following lists eligible loan programs.

Graduate Loan Questionnaire
Our office will process a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan for any eligible student who submits a FAFSA using the 001444 school code. Students who decline part or all of that offer, or who gain additional eligibility, must complete GW’s Supplemental Graduate Loan Questionnaire to apply. Students applying for a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS or private alternative loan must also submit that form.
