Awarding

The awarding of financial aid occurs after a student has completed all necessary application(s) for financial assistance and any additional requested documents needed for the review of the application(s) have been received and reviewed by our staff.

Your award will depend upon your eligibility, cost of attendance, outside resources, other institutional aid and your expected enrollment.

For eligible undergraduate students, financial aid is packaged in the following order: Federal Pell Grant, Federal SEOG, institutional awards, Federal Direct Subsidized loans, Federal Work Study, and Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans.

Once awarded aid, students will be notified by email of their financial aid offer. Some assistance types require additional steps to be completed prior to the disbursement of funds to a student's account, such as, the completion of the Entrance Counseling and the Master Promissory Note for loans. All requirements will be listed on GWeb.
