Policy - International Student Aid
Federal grants, loans and most sources of university grants and scholarships are limited to US Citizens, permanent residents and other eligible non-citizens.
Undergraduate international students who have earned a minimum of 30 credits at GW and have maintained a 2.0 GPA or better may apply for institutional financial assistance. International students who qualify may receive a need based grant for up to $10,000 if they have not already received other GW grants and scholarships totaling $10,000 or more.
We will certify credit based private alternative student loans for all undergraduate and graduate degree students who qualify with the lender.
Graduate students may contact the Office of Graduate Student Fellowships and Assistantships for more information on funding.
